Here is something a bit different to start out a New Year.
This is a tryptich of 3 images, taken along a randonee path
that I have walked regularly for years. Somehow, the strange
beauty of these trees has previously eluded me. I never noticed
them until this past spring, 2009. They immediately reminded
me of dancers, bending and twisting in improbable contortions.
I decided to see how they would look together, so here they are.

The configuration on the paper for these 3 images together
is horizontal and they look really sensational large!
