Market Umbrella, Monpazier
Published by leslee February 7th, 2008 in Markets
I made this while sipping a cafe in a lovely cafe on the market square in Monpazier.
Monpazier is one of the most beautifully preserved bastide towns in the Perigord. The
contrast of this modern form with the beautiful stone work of the town intrigued me.
Part of the story, the town itself is not seen. You will have to just go there and see it
for yourself!
